I’m doing something different for my next three blogs. I’m interviewing my family. I sat down with my 19-year-old daughter this week for a Q & A. Been wanting to do this for a while, just for fun.

1. What’s your favorite family memory? Staying on the beach in the summers in San Diego during 4th of July.
2. What’s something you’re really good at? Strategy games like Clue, Sudoku and Solitaire.
3. What’s your favorite thing to do together as a family? Go out to eat.
4. What’s a dream you hope comes true? That someday I get to see the Seven Wonders of the World.
5. What are you most excited about this year? Visiting my friends that are away for college.
6. What makes our family unique? All my friends say the four of us talk the same and act the same.
7. How do you show God’s love to others? I’m kind to everyone. Even people who have hurt me.
8. What do you think kindness means? No judgement. I don’t say mean things. I smile at everyone.
9. What is your favorite bible story? The Pharisee and the Tax Collector.
10. What’s the funniest thing Dad has ever done? When he does impressions.
11. What’s something people don’t know about you? That I’m very firm in my political beliefs.

13. What advice would you give your younger self? Take grades seriously starting as a freshman. Take your GPA more seriously for the sake of college scholarships.

15. What makes Gen Z different from generations before it? Gen Z has more slang than others. We don’t text in whole words. Gen Z is less judgmental and open-minded.
16. How will you look back on your generation positively? Even though I grew up with a lot of technology, and all that other stuff, I still feel like I still knew a time when things were not as bad as now. My childhood still feels like it will be different than young children’s of today. When I was younger, there was still good movies and good music. The 2010’s were better than the 2020’s.

As you can see, this was not deep and philosophical. I could’ve asked that, but neither of us were in the mood. P.S. I’m totally good with her political beliefs!
